A visit to Wings Over the Rockies was part of our day today.
It’s a very cool museum at the old site of Lowry Air Force Base. We got to see many, many aircraft, both military
and civilian
but the highlight (for some) was an X-Wing fighter from Star Wars
with R2D2 on the back

Jealous! Is this the X-Wing that went to the Dagobah System? I bet it is!
No idea, but it had all sorts of signatures and other writing on it. Looked authentic. Funny to think they had to paint stuff like carbon around the back of the engines, and other signs of wear.
